The Inner Path of Photography

We yearn for the taste of the sacred…and through our cameras discover it, the world, and ourselves.

“Strong/Fragile”

Fragile

Beautiful

Strong to have made it to the beach.

A shell companion, quiet witness
Birds, ocean, sky

Now you may drop the struggle.
Allow your fragility

Rest. Rest. Rest.

*****

On this day of Winter Solstice, 2020, I honor your ability to always find the Light.
I send you love, inspiration, and comfort for the Soul.

Always Beauty.

“Begin Again”

Dramatic white and cream clouds rise in a dark blue sky, inspiring expansion and soulful feelings.

“Begin Again” is one of my favorite meditation phrases,
taken from the Buddhist practice.

It reminds us that each new year, each day, each moment
we are always free…

to recommit to what is most important to us
look to the future with positive anticipation
relax, allow for imperfection, and act again.

Breathe Deeply….

May you feel the grandeur of your Soul
now…and now…and now.

Begin Again.

About Heidi

“A Child, Deer, Woods: The Gift”

As a child, I tiptoed through the woods
hoping to discover the flattened grass
left from the sleep of deer the night before.

To find one of these spots was to step into a deep
experience of the Sacred.

Awed, immersed in the mystical,
I imagined the deer watching over me, and received their special gift
allowing me into their secret, peaceful home.

I still silently breathe a sigh of gratitude.

“Sweetness”

Elegance.

Simple beauty.

Softness.

I wish you much sweetness today.
